Blackjack Is Like A Rollercoaster

July 1st, 2026 No comments

black jack is a game that reminds me of a rollercoaster. It’s a game that starts out slowly, but gradually picks up the pace. As you slowly build up your bankroll, you feel as though you are slowly getting to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t expect it, the bottom drops.

Blackjack is so incredibly like a rollercoaster the similarities are frightening. As is the case with the popular fairground ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will seem to be going well for awhile before it bottoms out again. Of course you have to be a black jack player that is able to readjust to the ups … downs of the game mainly because the game of blackjack is choked full with them.

If you like the mini coaster, one that can’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the rollercoaster ride is with a larger wager, then jump aboard for the ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high-roller will love the view from the monster crazy ride because he or she is not thinking on the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that is a lovely feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to toss and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.

If you don’t, you might not recount how much you enjoyed the good life while your cash was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, an amazing ride and your head in the air. As you are recalling "what ifs", you won’t recall how "high up" you went but you will have memories of that disastrous drop as clear as day.
